Contemplation is nothing else but a secret, peaceful, and loving infusion of God, which if admitted, will set the soul on fire with the Spirit of love.

Saint Isidore: Prayer purifies us, reading instructs us. Both are good when both are possible. Otherwise, prayer is better than reading.
Saint Francis of Assisi: I have been all things unholy. If God can work through me, he can work through anyone
Saint Teresa of Calcutta: We fear the future because we are wasting our today
Saint Francis de Sales: Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.
St. Teresa of Calcutta: If we really, really want to love we must learn how to forgive
Saint Francis of Assisi: We must not be wise and prudent according to the flesh
